- This is a full time position based at our client site in Auckland CBD
- The working hours are 40 hours per week from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday - Friday
**About the Role**
This role is required to deliver 5 Star Client services across Catering, Hospitality and Concierge within our client's venues, in line with agreed quality and service goals. We require a talented client focused and service orientated person, who consistently delivers and drives outstanding service levels within the team. You will ideally have a room steward with you to assist with daily catering operations.
The Client Services Catering Coordinator is required to have an exceptionally high level of professionalism with an emphasis on hospitality and customer service and is required to consistently deliver a professional seamless service to both external and internal clients alike.
**Main Duties**
- Manage and assist with functions and events, working closely with the Meeting & Event Co-ordinator to ensure exceptional customer experiences
- Ensures processes, procedures and services offered are aligned to meet the needs of the customer
- Overall understanding and ownership of hospitality services to ensure a seamless operation from all aspects
- Seek and communicate feedback from customers and deal with any customer feedback in a professional manner
- Oversee the timely food and beverage service to guests and the consistent quality of all menu items
- Managing of catering bookings for meetings and events within all venues
- Maintains inventories of food and beverage items
- Assisting with office administration duties
- Ensure that the team initiate an exceptional ‘First Impression” experience for the client
- Managing an immaculate front office area
- Assisting with boardroom event setup and down
- Ensure your site is compliant with Canon and client Health & Safety Standards
**Key Requirements**
- Essential - Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Hospitality/ F&B sector and/or Corporate Hospitality environment.
- Proven experience leading a team of hospitality professionals
- Proven Event Management experience
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel & Word skills, experience in booking software
- Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills
- Positive and proactive attitude
- Adaptable and flexible with a willingness to learn new skills
