**About the opportunity**:
Our client is an expert air conditioning, and ventilation solutions provider to clients across Auckland They currently have a significant opportunity to be part of an established and growing Service and Maintenance team. This role will require a customer-focused and professional individual who is driven to succeed personally and as a team.

**Role description**:
The primary purpose of this position is to service and maintain a variety of air conditioning and ventilation systems/equipment. You will be reporting directly to the Service & Maintenance Manager.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Service, repair and maintenance of air conditioning and ventilation systems
- Fault diagnosis
- Communicating confidently with clients as required to best represent the company
- Maintaining accurate service records and providing excellent customer service
- Taking a leadership role on site
- Driving the development of junior technicians/apprentices
- Installation work from time to time (splits / ducted / fans etc)

**This role will suit someone with the following background / experience / qualities**:

- 5+ years overall experience, with previous experience in a similar role
- Trade qualified or equivalent
- Current Drivers license
- Limited Electrical Certificate
- A positive can-do attitude and ability to work well under pressure
- Great people skills with a willingness to build great relationships (internal and external)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
