Are you a coordinator and secretariate champion, looking for a new chance to showcase your skills through an interesting and meaningful organisation?
As Board and Statutory Support Officer, you will play an integral part within the Regional Operations Taupo team. You will provide high quality statutory support, administrative services and project coordination to the Conservation Board, Reserve Management Boards and your regional team. Our collective focus is to contribute to our kaupapa of ensuring we deliver high-quality conservation goals and outcomes that align with our commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi. You will be someone who has the drive to deliver high quality work and feel inspired by our shared purpose and values. Some travel within your region, with occasional overnight stays, is expected.The position will be focussed on:

- administrative, secretariate support and project coordination tasks - coordination for Official Information Act, Ministerial and Parliamentary Question requests, word processing, document management and administrative support for public notification processes
- provision of personal assistance to the Manager and/or Conservation and Reserve Management Board Chairs - meeting support, drafting correspondence, arranging travel, support for financial processes and minute taking
- provision of communications support - newsletters, surveys, presentations, website content, and reports.

Desirable
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Tikanga Māori and Te Ao Māori or a willingness to engage is an advantage.
- Understanding of how government works,w with knowledge of Department of Conservation processes and systems.
