ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you passionate about storytelling, brand-building, and driving impactful engagement? Join the Tūwharetoa Māori Trust Board to lead the coordinated and integrated delivery of all marketing, communications, and event strategies across our organisation, ensuring every message aligns with our strategic vision and cultural values.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To ensure the coordinated and integrated delivery of all marketing, communications and event strategies and plans across the organisation in accordance with Board strategy and policy.
  • To model behaviours that embody the Tūwharetoa Māori Trust Board's culture and contribute to a supportive, collaborative, team-focused environment.
  • To support the successful delivery of the organisation's strategic plans and objectives.
  • Support the delivery of reporting dashboards and funder updates, ensuring accuracy and clarity

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in marketing, communications or related roles
  • Strong track record in strategy development, implementation and reporting
  • Excellent writing, editing and presentation skills
  • Proficiency across multimedia platforms and social media channel
  • Budget management experience
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
  • Demonstrated cultural awareness and commitment to Māori values
  • Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional initiatives
