Every day you will be dealing with challenging situations which will need to be approached with professionalism, respect, empathy and in a positive manner. You will be welcoming customers into the station and ensuring their enquiries are understood and handled appropriately. You will be required to work Monday to Friday 0800-1600 (no weekends or late shifts) be part of a high performing team, show attention to detail with a can-do attitude and be willing to learn. The role of a Frontline Station Support Officer provides operational and administrational support to Police which includes but is not limited to, front counter customer service, data entry, use of Police systems, typing and file management. **Key Accountabilities**: - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills - The ability to deal with challenging individuals in a customer services environment - Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to work hard in a team environment - Providing administrative and practical support to other workgroups within the New Zealand Police - Professionalism - Providing exceptional service as an individual and in a team.
