The team at LangtonHudsonButcher are expanding with an exciting opportunity for a junior to intermediate level employment lawyer to join the team. This is an exceptional chance to take the next step in your career, joining a recognised firm who provides top-level advice to clients.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Advising on Employment Relations (ER), and Industrial Relations (IR) issues;
- Assisting on a range of disputes including personal grievances, breach of contract claims and, compliance matters;
- Drafting advice on legislative and policy change;
- Assisting on employment aspects of corporate transactions;
- Advising on protection of confidential information and restraint of trade issues;.
- Preparing and reviewing contracts and policies;
- Providing the best possible service to clients and promoting good client and public relations;
- Upholding a strong firm image by producing accurate work of a high standard; and
- Keeping themselves informed of new developments in the law for the betterment of both themselves and the firm.
**About You**
- Have at least 1 year PQE and a desire to specialise in employment law;
- Have a strong academics and a commitment to the on-going refinement of legal skills and a focus on client service;
- Hold a Bachelor of Laws degree and a current practicing certificate from a common law jurisdiction (non common law jurisdictions may still be of interest and will be assessed by Robert Walters);
- Be a strong team player.
