We are looking for an intermediate or senior lawyer to join partners Liz Coats and Rosemary Wooders in the Auckland employment and workplace health and safety team.

You will work alongside some of the country’s most respected employment and workplace health and safety law specialists on a wide range of complex and interesting matters, including:

- Advisory work on employment strategy and best practice
- Employment investigations, disciplinary processes, and restructures
- Personal grievances, mediations, and litigation in the Employment Relations Authority, Employment Court, and beyond
- Health & safety issues, Holidays Act compliance, and workplace policy development
- Supporting major corporate clients on high-value transactions and workforce change projects.

Experience and qualifications
- 3+ years PQE, including private practice and/or in-house.
- Admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand.
- Excellent communicator with collaborative, solutions focused mindset.
- Enthusiastic, driven, and eager to grow within a leading employment practice.
- Commercially astute, with ability to think strategically and practically.
- Strong legal research, drafting and analytical skills.
