Nau mai, haere mai. We’re Chorus. You may have already heard about us and know we’re the team empowering the digital future of Aotearoa with our ultra-fast fibre. We’re a talented bunch who are passionate about our purpose: Unleashing potential through connectivity. Enabling better futures for Aotearoa.
**Te Momo Tūranga** **| Contract**: Permanent Full Time
**Te Wāhi** **| Where**: Auckland
**Te Pūtake** **| Why we’re hiring**:We’re stepping into our next chapter, aspiring toward 80% fibre uptake across the motu by 2030. With our new strategy providing the roadmap for what we’re working to achieve and how we’ll get there, opportunities are emerging as we seek to expand our capability and talent in new and different spaces.
**Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The Opportunity**
This is a key leadership role where relationships, strategy, and innovation converge. As the Channel Partner Lead - Infrastructure, you’ll be at the forefront of Chorus’s engagement with some of New Zealand’s largest telco and data centre operators. This role is about more than account management, it’s about shaping the future of how we work with our partners to deliver smarter connectivity and data solutions across the country.
You’ll be the strategic face of Chorus for your channel partners, building trusted relationships and becoming their go-to advisor. You’ll ensure that partner needs are heard, understood, and embedded into how we work, while also advocating internally to align our strategic priorities with their roadmaps. You’ll lead high-impact, commercially meaningful initiatives and play a key role in unlocking shared growth opportunities.
Working in a cross-functional squad environment, you’ll collaborate with teams across the business to deliver value at every touchpoint, from proposition development to execution in the field. You’ll help drive innovation, resolve competing priorities, and champion solutions that create real outcomes for partners and customers alike.
You’ll also have the support of a skilled and committed team, giving you the backing to focus on leading the strategic direction and making a tangible impact. If you’re passionate about partnership-led growth, solving complex challenges, and building value across a dynamic infrastructure ecosystem, this role gives you the platform to do just that.
**Ō Wheako, ō Pūkenga | Your Experience**
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to bring a strong mix of commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and deep experience in building trusted partnerships. You’re someone who can see the big picture, drive joint initiatives, and bring people together across teams to make things happen.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- A proven track record in managing strategic partner relationships.
- Experience co-developing initiatives that align partner and business goals and seeing them through to execution.
- Confidence working across organisational levels, from executive discussions to operational coordination.
- In-depth knowledge of enterprise connectivity solutions and the data centre landscape in New Zealand.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills, with a natural ability to manage competing priorities and resolve complex challenges.
- A collaborative approach that thrives in a squad-based, cross-functional environment.
- If you understand the infrastructure market, speak the language of fibre and data, and know how to turn relationships into results, this could be the role for you.
Not sure that you meet all the requirements? If you still think you could be great for the role, we encourage you to apply
**Mō mātou | About us**
We’re shaping a future where all New Zealanders are free to access opportunities that define their own lives, as we expand our network to help Aotearoa grow.
With a new strategy in place and a powerful, inspiring purpose, Chorus is an exciting space right now. We’re on the path to moving from being the great network builder to being the great network operator. To do that, we embrace our mindsets: Be bold, ignite growth, Honour our past, reimagine our future, and Connect communities, empower people. We need people who not only embody these mindsets and the underpinning behaviours but who also inspire others to do the same.
With our Chorus Care package benefits behind you, you’ll have the opportunity to learn and grow alongside a caring, open-minded team in an environment that embraces diversity, encourages innovation, redefines flexibility, and offers an enviable work life balance.
