Media Specialist

**THE OPPORTUNITY**:
As a Media Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of managing and growing a portfolio of sophisticated and high-value customers. Your role will involve crafting innovative media solutions that enhance NZME’s market profile, driving sales targets, and exploring new business opportunities. You’ll work collaboratively, ensuring that every campaign is audience-driven and impactful.

**HOW YOU’LL DO IT**:

- **Account Management & Growth**: Develop and implement dynamic, audience-driven advertising campaigns using NZME’s extensive product range. Drive account growth year-over-year and seize new business development opportunities.
- **Self-Management**: Provide accurate reporting and forecasting. Fully utilize CRM tools and adhere to NZME’s business rules. Stay self-motivated and target driven.
- **Planning & Organisational Skills**: Efficiently manage time and priorities to meet deadlines. Liaise effectively in planning meetings to ensure optimal content delivery. Foster strong communication within your team and operate with a company-wide mentality.

**ABOUT YOU**:

- You’ll bring 2+ years’ experience in media or related fields.
- A relevant degree or extensive knowledge of the NZ and broader media markets.
- Track record of success in sales and planning roles, preferably within media.
- Proven ability to meet targets and develop strategic campaigns
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- You’ll be a team player, with innovative thinking and strong customer relationship skills.
