You won’t be stuck behind a desk. You’ll be leading our Waste Facility and Services teams, managing vacuum truck operations, and driving yard projects that truly matter. Plus, you’ll oversee the day-to-day running of our CDE plant — a crucial hub where waste turns into valuable recycled products. Each day brings fresh challenges and the satisfaction of keeping operations efficient, productive, and safe.

**What you’ll own**:

- Manage and oversee all daily operations of the CDE plant, ensuring production and quality targets are consistently met.
- Monitor plant performance and coordinate with maintenance teams to keep equipment in top shape and downtime to a minimum.
- Implement and improve operational procedures and safety standards—your leadership will keep the plant running smoothly and safely.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve mechanical or process issues quickly to maintain optimal output.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, cost reduction, and operational excellence.
- Manage weighbridge operations, incoming waste streams, and outbound product sales, contributing to the financial growth of the plant by identifying new waste streams and revenue opportunities.
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers, suppliers, and contractors, delivering prompt and professional service at all times.
- Lead daily yard operations and vacuum truck teams—organising drivers, booking jobs, and building strong client relationships.
- Collaborate closely with senior management, sharing responsibilities and making things happen.
