**Marketing Executive - Commercial Group**

**About us**

Sime Darby Motor Group represents World Class Truck and Transport brands in New Zealand, including Palfinger, Hyster, TWL, Transpecs, Engineering & Plant Services as well as supporting Truckstops, Hino, UD, Volvo, Mack Trucks and Used Trucks NZ. Due to the continued growth of our Commercial Group and portfolio, we are looking for an energetic and passionate Marketing Executive to assist with the development, implementation, and monitoring of marketing initiatives in the Trucks and Transport market.

**The role**

Reporting to the Marketing Manager for the Commercial division of Sime Darby Motor Group, you will be responsible for the support of various marketing/ digital activities across the Commercial group brands, collaborating with an already existing team of passionate Marketing Executives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Assist with the preparation & implementation of annual Marketing, Media (including digital) and Advertising plan.
- Maintenance of allocated business unit websites (in conjunction with external marketing agency), ensuring all content is accurate & current.
- Assist with all Marketing, Advertising & Public Relations co-ordination (in conjunction with external marketing agencies when used) for allocated business units.
- Assist with assessing innovative ways to market services and products to existing & new customers for allocated business units.
- Monitor the advertising budget and ensure events/promotions/activities are within allocated budgets.
- Liaise with external suppliers e.g. advertising agencies, graphic designers, digital agencies, media agencies, publications, media organisations, etc.
- Work with Group Digital Marketing team to maximise digital marketing opportunities.
- Brand Guardian for the Corporate Identity of the brands that will be represented in the role.

We are looking for someone with:

- Minimum 3 years' experience in digital marketing techniques & social media opportunities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organise work, deal with competing demands and to plan effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Sound administration, organisational and time management skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills

This role would suit someone who has an interest in the Transport and Trucking industry, can bring plenty of ideas to the table, and can work autonomously.
