**We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to join our team at Foodstuffs North Island (FSNI)**

At our DCs, we are here to serve Kiwis and help them get more out of life. Across five DCs in the North Island, we service all 350 stores in our network - that’s a lot of refrigeration, forklifts, pickers, racking, wrappers and dock levellers which need repaired and maintained for the safety of our people and service of our customers.

**The Role;**
- Managing a team of 6 across all sites in both Auckland and Palmy
- Continued refinement of the preventative maintenance strategy for all plant and equipment
- Managing contractors to ensure safe, timely and effective delivery of jobs
- Work closely with our contracted vendors to drive value and service levels
- Play a role in championing Foodies health and safety “Journey to Zero” strategy

**What are we looking for;**
- Safety, safety, safety - as we’ve said, this is part of Foodies “journey to zero”, so a background of reducing and eliminating risk is key
- Leading a team, providing them with an awesome place to work and developing careers
- You will bring strong fundamental engineering and preventative maintenance skills
- Experience of MEX maintenance software would be an advantage
- Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge is a must, an understanding of current/emerging battery technologies would be an advantage
- Understand the commercial side of contracts, procurement and negotiation
