Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
Our Programme Management Office is to set out to develop a best practice controls function which, through robust reporting and sound programme management protocols, supporting Te Iho to deliver fit for purpose network solutions safely, to time, specification and cost.
As the Manager of the PMO, you'll manage a team of Project Managers to successfully deliver projects on time, within scope and budget. Reporting to the Programme Director, you'll be a pivotal member of the programme leadership team.
You'll also be accountable for ensuring the establishment and management of portfolio, programme and project methodology incorporating structures, standards, procedures, methods, tools and techniques.
This role is based in Highbrook, Auckland.
Mōu - About you
As a seasoned Programme Manager you'll have proven experience managing complex, high dollar value programmes for large organisations. While experience in the postal industry would be a huge advantage, we understand this background is rare - so it's essential you have led a major supply chain change programme that involved the delivery of a sortation management and/or logistics automation solution.
With a strategic viewpoint, you'll be an inspirational leader who can clearly articulate a vision and influence key decision makers. Your strategic mind, strong commercial and financial acumen and excellent stakeholder engagement skills will ensure your success. You'll also hold relevant practitioner qualifications, e.g. PMI, Prince2, Six Sigma, Agile.
