**About the role**:
We are looking for an experienced people leader to become our new** Merchandising Team Leader.** You will be someone who is driven to make a difference for our customers and our teams daily and someone who is not afraid to get stuck in

This is an incredible opportunity to take your Sales Merchandising career to the next level. The primary purpose of this position is to manage the merchandising budget at our Christchurch based branch, supporting the whole South Island and Merchandising Team Leadership, to ensure merchandising standards and best-in-class execution.

The Merchandising Team Leader will be responsible for the management of financial budget, development of capabilities through actively coaching, developing the Merchandisers in the South Island. The role will also support Senior Merchandisers with recruitment and onboarding of new talent and rostering practices.

Working closely with the Territory Managers, this position will ensure Sales execution is met within Stores to support Sales targets whilst reporting to the National Merchandising Manager.

**About you**:

- Full Driver’s license
- You will be physically fit and able to carry out merchandising activities
- Proven experience in managing regional teams, ideally in an FMCG environment

**You will also have**:

- Strong business partnering and stakeholder engagement skills
- Solid Budget management skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
