**Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**
We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator to join our Data Platforms team
You will be responsible for installation, configuration and administration services for new and existing MS, SQL and Oracle environments ensuring accuracy and compliance carried out effectively.
Other duties include implementing and overseeing database policies and procedures to ensure integrity and availability of databases and their accompanying software. You are always looking for improvements that will help develop our systems.

With your strategic and analytical thinking you will lead the way with your innovative ideas and be able to work well under pressure.
We need someone who can think off their feet and provide solutions, has pride in their attention to detail, and works well with a diverse range of people.
**Requirements**:
- 3-5 years experience in a similar position working as an MS SQL database administrator
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Certification in MS SQL/ORACLE database
- ITIL foundation certification
