**Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**

We are committed to maintaining and enhancing the efficiency of our transport network. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as the Real-Time Operations Optimisation Lead.

You will be responsible for leading, motivating, and empowering a team to ensure our transport network operates as smoothly as possible. You will work in real-time to implement optimisation planning, this involves actively monitoring the transport network and making immediate decisions to improve its efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Fostering a Positive Culture: Creating and maintaining a genuinely positive culture within the team and contributing positively to the overall ATOC culture.
- Developing a Capable Team: Building a highly capable team that consistently delivers best-in-class customer outcomes.
- Understanding Network Performance: Ensuring the team has a clear understanding of network performance outcomes, priorities, and levers.
- Staff Roster Management: Making sure that the staff roster is well-aligned with network demand to ensure adequate coverage.
- Risk Identification and Escalation: Identifying risks associated with optimisation implementations, analysing them, and escalating them appropriately.
- Network Fault Management: Ensuring that network faults are promptly picked up, logged, and followed up for resolution in a timely manner.

As a seasoned team leader, you will bring demonstrated competence in supervising a team, preferably in a highly complex organisation. Ideally, you will understand and have worked with Coordinated Incident Management and have risk management processes experience.
