**Position Description**:

- **Location: Auckland based with a requirement for regular travel to our Pōkeno, Waikato manufacturing facility | Full-time**
- ** Salary: $120,000 - $130,000 NZD base + STI (depending on experience)**
- ** Hours: 40 hours per week**

**About the Role**

We are looking for an experienced **Senior Process Technologist - Infant Nutrition** to join our Product Development team in Pōkeno. In this pivotal role, you will bring deep technical expertise in **IMF dry-to-wet formulation and process technology** across wet processing, spray drying, dry blending, filling, and packing operations. This role is based in **Auckland with a requirement for regular travel to our Pōkeno, Waikato manufacturing facility**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide technical expertise in IMF dry-to-wet formulation and infant nutrition processing (wet process, spray dry, dry blend).
- Lead and execute benchtop, pilot plant, and factory trials to deliver new product innovations.
- Drive process optimisation and establish best-practice manufacturing standards.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to validate ingredients, manage shelf-life studies, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Lead problem-solving initiatives to resolve processing challenges and ensure consistent product quality.
- Support post-launch product lifecycle activities and continuous improvement projects.

**About You**

You are a highly skilled process technologist with a strong background in infant nutrition and nutritional powders. You thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional environments and bring a hands-on, solutions-oriented approach to complex processing challenges.
- Degree in Engineering, Food Technology, Biochemistry, Nutrition, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 3+ years’ experience in infant nutrition process technology, formulation development, and scale-up within the Infant Milk Formula industry including Wet Process and Spray Drying
- Proven expertise in wet processing, spray drying, dry blending, and formulation for IMF.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver practical outcomes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of influencing across functions.
