The Managed Services team are responsible for a number of outsourced projects and services for some of our biggest clients in Datacom. We are a very fast-paced team who focused on delivery of awesome business outcomes We are a well-established team with a mix of senior through to junior team members, so there are plenty of learning opportunities.
About the Role
The Change Manager is responsible for coordination and delivery of changes within a customer’s environment. The purpose of this role is to ensure that changes and releases made on systems within Datacom’s control adhere to the defined ITIL Change Management Processes.
You will work closely with the ITSM Manager and customer, to align controls and activities in delivering fast business driven technology changes.
What you’ll do
- Manage the end-to-end Change Management processes.
- Identify and implement improvements to the processes to meet the needs of the Customer’s business and technical areas, in collaboration with IT Business owners, CAB and other relevant parties.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate and enable Changes whilst minimising the risk to ICT environments
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination to all stakeholders of the Change Management Process occurs for the successful implementation of changes and releases
- Effectively and proactively manage all Change Management issues raised for the client, contributing to Continuous Service Improvement activities as required.
- Perform Change trending and analysis
- Develop and maintain process and supporting documentation such as user guides, templates and checklists to promote internal and external engagement with the processes.

What you’ll bring
Proven Change Management experience at least 2-3 years.
We are looking for someone who is outcome oriented, delivering business outcomes within the IT Change Management discipline, ensuring process participants understand their obligations, and that information is provided to make the process easy to understand and participate in.
Knowledge and experience working with Agile Teams is a must. Being able to flex process in order to meet Customer needs while ensuring all risks are considered and accepted.
You will have exceptional communication skills, be collaborative and a self-starter who strives to achieve the best outcome for all stakeholders. You will have the ability to communicate technical concepts and align them with client business goals and objectives. Analytical skills are important in this role, along with strong administrative and organisational skills.
