We're looking for our next Senior Product Designer, to join our Design team, playing a pivotal role in shaping the overall design direction and strategy of our products. You will lead by example, driving innovation, and ensuring the highest standards of design excellence across all initiatives. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will leverage your deep expertise in user experience and design to create intuitive and compelling solutions that delight our users and drive business success. **Responsibilities** - Lead the design vision and strategy for our products, aligning with company goals and customer needs. - Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define product requirements and priorities, advocating for user-centric design principles throughout the process. - Conduct user research, usability testing, and analysis of user feedback to inform design decisions and identify opportunities for improvement. - Create high-fidelity prototypes, wireframes, and design mockups to communicate design concepts and validate ideas with stakeholders. - Champion design thinking and innovation within the organisation, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. - Collaborate with design leadership to evolve our design systems, processes, and standards, ensuring consistency and scalability across products. - Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in design, bringing fresh ideas and perspectives to the team. - Lead design reviews and critiques, providing constructive feedback to team members and driving alignment on design decisions. **Requirements**: - 7+ years of experience as a product designer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your expertise in user experience, interaction design, and visual design. - Proven track record of leading design initiatives from concept to launch, with a focus on creating innovative and impactful user experiences. - Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools like InVision or Framer. - Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, user research methodologies, and usability best practices. - Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders. - Experience working in an agile environment, collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality products on time. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and priorities effectively.. - Experience with design systems, component libraries, and design documentation is a plus. **Benefits** - Highly competitive salary - 5 extra "Nice Days" per year on top of the 4 weeks annual leave entitlement - Flexible, hybrid working environment with a beautiful office space at the B:Hive for those anchor days - Free parking at the office - Free optional health insurance through Southern Cross - Up to $1,500 Learning and Development reimbursement per year for personal or professional growth - 8 weeks paid time off for all new parents plus more, check is out on the Crayon Register
