**Relieving / Roving Care Home Manager: Be at the Heart of Aged Care**

That’s why we are seeking a **Relieving Care Home Manager** for our Bupa care homes across New Zealand. With 48 care homes and 34 retirement villages across Bupa NZ, you can make a true impact.

**Where You’ll Make an Impact**:

- Oversee the management of Bupa care homes
- assignments can vary from weeks to months depending on what is agreed upon.
- Provide seamless person-centred care to the residents and their families.
- Utilise your previous aged care background to enrich the residents’ lives with personalised care.
- Recruit, retain, and lead your team while facilitating the development of their careers.
- Meet occupancy targets, participate in the development of P&L statements, and manage your budget.
- Demonstrate leadership in Quality & Risk Management and Health and Safety requirements.

You will feel the welcoming environment the moment you walk into our care homes. You will be tasked with temporarily managing a care home in a variety of assignments. **Your Person-First Approach**:
You have a passion for people, understanding individual residents’ needs and behaviours, while working in a collaborative, engaging, and empathetic style. You will have the ability to bring the team along the journey with you and implement changes.
- Proven experience as an aged care manager.
- Experience leading and coaching large teams, while promoting development opportunities.
- Continue the success of managing occupancy rates and strong financials.
- Experience working with stakeholders, which includes liaising with the DHB, Allied Health team, local community, residents, and families.
- Audit management and leading continuous quality improvements.
- A relevant tertiary qualification is preferred.
