Superstart Batteries Ltd is a distributor and online retailer of automotive batteries, tools, parts and accessories based in Auckland, New Zealand. In the past year, weve been experienced rapid growth as a result of increasing our online presence and product range. Our nationwide sales figures have grown and has big potential to grow further. Hence to keep up with the pace, we are looking for two superstar Customer Service Agents (Telemarketer) to come and join our team, with the focus on aggressively growing more sales not just within Auckland but NZ wide.

**The Role**:

- Contact existing and prospective customers (car dealers, caryards, workshops, online enquiries) to promote ourrange of automotive batteries, tools, parts and accessories, with the objective of obtaining sales (book & turn). Scripts and training will be provided.
- Maintain current key relationships with existing customers while proactively identifying new prospective business clients with the goal of generating customer loyalty (repeat sales).
- Book appointments and sales visits to prospective customers for our current Sales & Marketing reps.
- Respond to customer enquiries by coordinating with our Sales & Marketing reps.
- Make inbound and outbound calls from our existing database with the aim of increasing awareness of our wide range of automotive products and generating repeat sales for our existing customers.
- Arrange processing and despatch of our product catalogue range as well as our regularly updated price list. Advise out of Auckland customers on our delivery status and lead times.
- Record notes for follow up action (eg: Scheduling visit appointment times, Price Match request, stock availability, etc) and updating our MYOB customer database to reflect changes to the status of potential leads.
- Monitor competitor activity and prices. Report these developments to the sales and marketing manager.
- Prepare daily reports and forecasts on potential sales leads, feedback from customers, etc. to the sales team for further action.

**Key skills required**:

- At least 6 months experience as a customer service representative or telemarketer is ideal but not necessary.
- Experience in the automotive or automotive batteries industry is ideal but not necessary as training will be provided.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
- Highly computer literate. Skills in using Google and Wordpress customer enquiry platform is ideal but not necessary.
- Independent go getter.
- Fluent in English

Location: Our Main Branch at Burswood (East Tamaki), Auckland, New Zealand.

Minimum hours of work: 40 hours/week
Days required: 6 days (must be available to work on weekends)
Positions available: 2 vacancies

Salary range: $29.66 to $30.00 per hour
