We're looking for a motivated and dynamic people and systems leader to join the International Engagement team in our Strategic Direction, Governance and Policy Directorate. This is a new position and it's an exciting opportunity for someone looking for their next challenge
This is a role with variety - it has exposure to a range of interesting work through the support the Directorate provides to the Directors-General and senior leadership teams of the NZSIS and GCSB.
This position is responsible for leading a small team contributing to organisation-wide outputs across our international service delivery functions, which include support to the agencies' network of staff posted offshore, management of official passport and visa processes, and a range of other business processes that enable effective international engagement activities.
We need someone in this role who has experience in an operational environment, particularly managing organisation-wide systems and processes, as well as the ability to define and undertake work programmes. You'll be an experienced people leader, skilled at creating and maintaining a positive culture and leading the team to achieve successful results.
Your great customer service focus, communication skills and ability to build productive relationships with a range of people will also contribute to your success.
