Our Retail Team perform an important role by working with Z Retailers, ensuring that our Z sites can deliver what our customers want and need, safely and effectively.

Working as a Kaituki Wheako Hokohoko Z Retail Experience Lead will see you build and maintain close relationships with a portfolio of retailers. Your focus will be working alongside the retailer to bring the Z offer to life which might include target setting, sales performance, working alongside retailers to deliver new food and coffee offerings, safety, and on-site standards.

It is a busy and changeable role; one day you could see you visiting a site to discuss recent sales performance and make sure the store looks sharp, the next could see you working through the long term plan for the region.

This role is based in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland with travel required.

**You will have the opportunity to**
- Take accountability for the service, safety and sales performance of Z retailers in your area
- Create plans for growth and actively engage retailers to bring these to life
- Ensure standards at our sites are being met and addressing any areas of concern
- Work with retailers to manage and learn from any safety incidents
- Create and review business plans and set targets
- Listen to, understand, coach and influence Z retailers, sharing information back to Z to ensure success
- Get out and about to Z retailers and sites; this role covers central, west, and north Auckland, as well as Northland as far as Kaitaia

**Qualifications**:
**What you’ll bring to Z**
- Proven experience in a Business Development role
- Multi-site or experience at scale in delivering a customer offer
- Experience in or a solid understanding of frontline retail operations
- Strong commercial acumen
- The ability to analyse and interpret information and translate this into insights
- Experience within Health & Safety would be advantageous
- Boundless energy and enthusiasm for driving success
- Flexibility to commit to a role with regular travel and a clean driver’s license

The base salary range for this role is $128,690 to $151,400 per annum, plus 15% bonus based on company performance, a 5% KiwiSaver employer contribution and health insurance through Southern Cross. A car is provided with this role.
