One of our team is heading off on their parental leave journey creating a 12-month fixed-term opportunity to join our high-performing Product & Design team. The team aspires to be world-class at delivering across our entire customer journey and there is some exciting and groundbreaking work to contribute to as Z moves towards a Low Carbon Future.

Joining the Z whānau will see you using Agile ways of working within cross-functional squads to deliver customer value and compelling user experiences at pace. Our Experience Designers produce ruthlessly functional, connected and loveable product and service experiences using data and research to drive the direction.

**This role can be based in either Auckland / Tāmaki Makaurau or Wellington / Te Whanganui-a-Tara.**

**You will have the opportunity to**
- Design products for wide-ranging consumer groups
- Gather data and through a variety of methods and identify areas of opportunity
- Provide strategic design direction
- Create new design concepts and deliver on customer focused solutions
- Contribute to and guide design reviews
- Communicate and work closely with internal and external stakeholders
- Support and coach Associate Experience Designers

**Qualifications**:
**What you’ll bring to Z**
- 5+ years’ experience in Product, Service or Experience Design
- A focus on human centred design in an end-to-end environment
- A natural curiosity about all things digital and a love of developing and delivering solutions
- Experience working in a cross-functional team with Agile exposure
- Understanding of Figma, Maze, Adobe Creative Suite, Optimal Workshop and other tools
- Strong communication skills to deliver information to stakeholders
- Leadership experience, either pieces of work or people
- The ability to work and deliver at pace across multiple initiatives

The base salary range for this role is $135,000 to $149,900 per annum, we also offer a 5% KiwiSaver employer contribution.
