Our Integration Team work to provide event driven integration along with a Cloud Platform integration approach. We are excited to welcome a Kaipūhanga Kōtuituinga Matua Lead Integration Engineer to the Z whānau in a role that will empower you to make recommendations whilst developing people within our diverse integration function.

This role holds responsibility for building, developing, enhancing, maintaining, and supporting integrations and APIs that deliver value for Z, using approved technologies. You work closely with the Z business users and other Digital team members to ensure our ICT solutions are fit-for-Z and have a security first approach. As a senior member of the integration practice, you will be called on for your knowledge, coaching and mentoring skills and to facilitate the exchange of ideas in order to foster technical excellence at Z.

**This role can be based in either Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland or Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington.**

**You will have the opportunity to**
- Own the creation of component design and deliver technical components for solutions
- Work with our integration and digital architecture team to ensure alignment with architectural roadmaps
- Coach and guide a team as well as lead pieces of work
- Contribute to development of standards and best practices for integration at Z
- Contribute to establishing and using DevSecOps practices and tooling for integration
- Participate and liaise with various Communities of Practice
- Successful delivery of work into production and taking ownership from problem to solution

**Qualifications**:
**What you’ll bring to Z**
- Technical expertise in software development with a focus on event driven solutions, APIs, and cloud development
- Experience as technical expert with knowledge of GitHub, DevSecOps and Azure
- The ability to build, develop and mentor high performance teams
- Experience in development paradigms using Agile ways of working
- Commercial experience and the vision to see an enterprise-wide perspective
- A natural problem solver, take on advanced troubleshooting and problem solving across various technology layers, both in development and production

The base salary range for this role is $145,000 to $165,000 per annum, plus 15% bonus based on company performance, a 5% KiwiSaver employer contribution and health insurance through Southern Cross.
