**About the role**

You'll play an essential role as part of the wider L&D team,and will create engaging and meaningful learning content for a diverse range of employees. Reporting to the Group Learning & Development Manager, you will lead the NZ function and be responsible for partnering with the business to action the learning strategy and create learning experiences that improve performance.

The key accountabilities of the role will include:

- Design, development and delivery of interactive learning solutions that are fit for purpose, whether online, virtual or face to face
- Proactively partnering with business to build impactful learning solutions
- Conducting training gap analyses on training plans to identify opportunities for improvement
- Developing training matrices for learning pathways to measure knowledge transfer and retention
- Maintaining, enhancing functionality, driving continuous improvement and running reports for meaningful data insights from the LMS
- Managing two direct reports, ensuring the needs of the store network are met

**About you**

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

- Tertiary qualifications in either design thinking, user experience design (UX), digital and blended learning design, instructional design, and eLearning authoring or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience in an instructional design position in a similar sized organisation
- Excellent time and project management skills
- Ideally a qualification in workplace training and assessment or equivalent
- The ability to build relationships and rapport at all levels, based on sound communication skills
