**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

This is a **permanent**, **full-time **opportunity for a **Data Analyst to join our Master Data team.** Reporting to the Master Data Team Leader, you will analyse Master Data; checking for integrity to data changes, and provide a review and resolution to data issues, arising in the Master Data Team.

**You** will provide knowledge and expertise in the following functional areas**:

- Data gathering from internal, or external, customers to conduct analysis and validation as per business processes
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, and identify and reconcile data-conflicts to be consistent with supplier data and internal data-governance
- Analyse trends of Master Data movement and provide reports as required on market information and cost/benefit analysis for pricing and item updates
- Document catalogue-maintenance activities and draft standard processes
- Ensure Master Data is accurate and consistently maintained to a high standard across the multi-organisation Item Catalogue, avoid duplication

**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience**

**Ka kawea e koe | You will bring**:

- An APIC, CIPS or similar course in logistics and Supply Chain is preferred, but not required
- 2 years’ experience in analysis and data cleaning with strong analytical skills
- Experience of Product and Supplier Master Data, in a high-volume, customer-focused organisation
- Well-developed knowledge of product information-management and maintaining data standards
- Sound knowledge and ability to use Oracle Inventory System
- A solid working knowledge of MS Excel and possess skill in logístical analysis and lateral thinking
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
