**Who is EROAD?**

EROAD provide in-vehicle technology solutions to fleets in New Zealand, Australia and North America to help them operate more safely and efficiently - making our roads safer and more sustainable for everyone.
**The Role**

The NA Compliance team is responsible for ensuring that our products are designed, developed, and implemented to meet technical and regulatory requirements. We do this by understanding, translating, and navigating the evolving and complex regulatory environment to support cross-functional teams across EROAD and our customers while also providing thought-leadership to the broader transportation community. The Safety Compliance Specialist position will be an integral part of the compliance team, working directly with the Senior Regulatory Compliance Manager. This role will help ensure that EROAD products and customers maintain compliance with all Federal and State regulations required for commercial vehicles.
**Responsibilities**
- Work with internal EROAD subsidiaries to monitor compliance with Federal and State regulations including all driver, vehicle, and tax-related issues.
- Ensure customer and prospect compliance issues are handled correctly via training, data management, and analysis.
- Work closely with the regions and all local DOT/law enforcement officers in matters related to citations, violations, and DataQs.
- Review and support external customer tax and safety audits and follow-up if corrective actions are necessary.
- Provide guidance and training on all operations compliance communications with customers.
- Assist with identifying opportunities to enhance and improve our products to support evolving regulatory context and requirements.
- Support triage and prioritization of technical and compliance-related critical bugs and issues with product and engineering teams.
- Some travel may be required.

**Requirements**:

- 5 plus years of experience in transportation compliance
- Expertise and extensive knowledge of federal and local DOT and tax rules and regulations in NA and Canada
- Previous fleet management and transportation SaaS software system use. EROAD and Coretex specific experience a plus
- Have at least 2+ years of strategic partnership experience
- Proficient using collaborative software tools such as Microsoft Suite, SharePoint, Confluence and Jira
- Advanced computer skills with proficiency and working knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Effectively manage internal and external stakeholders
- Maintains the highest levels of integrity and confidentiality regarding company information
