**About the role** - **Korero mo te turanga**

We're looking for a Wellington-based designer to support the creation and development of design across print and digital channels.

This is a great opportunity to grow your design career in a respected public sector agency, working alongside experienced communicators and contributing to meaningful, high-impact projects.

In this role, you will:

- Support creative projects from concept to completion, including print and digital production.
- Deliver high-quality design and layout for publications, promotional materials, and digital assets.
- Make sure visual branding is consistently applied across all design.
- Create infographics and visual presentation templates.
- Help manage incoming design requests and assist the Senior Designer with prioritisation and delivery.

The full salary range for this role is $72,341 and $92,436 total remuneration, inclusive of our 3% KiwiSaver employer contribution. We expect to appoint around the midpoint $80,379 - give or take depending on your level of experience.

**Who are we looking for? - Ma wai te mahi nei?**

**We'd like to hear from you if you are at your happiest using your design and collaboration skills to help people to visually communicate their stories. In addition, you will have:

- Experience working on a range of campaigns and across print and digital mediums.
- Experience working in design agencies, and government and/or private sector communications in large organisations.
- Excellent design and project management skills and the ability to turn around content quickly.
- A keen eye for design and willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with design tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar).
- Good communication and time management skills.
- A collaborative mindset and attention to detail.
- Understanding of The Treaty of Waitangi/Te Tiriti, Te Reo Maori and Maori customs and protocols would be beneficial.
