We are seeking two Domain Specialist (L2) to join our Integrated Planning & Risk team, within the Planning and Performance group on a 12-month secondment.

Te Tari Taake ‘Inland Revenue’ plays a critical role in improving the economic and social wellbeing of Aotearoa ‘New Zealand’. We do this by collecting and distributing money - we collect 80% of the Crown’s revenue and distribute social support payments.

**Mō te roopu | About the Planning and Performance team**
Mahere me te Mahi - Planning and Performance teams work with partners across the Enterprise to understand our work and change work programme, consistently plan and manage prioritisation of our work, manage our risks, and review how we are tracking against our performance measures and understand why. We deliver value for IR-bringing a strong focus to improving the customer experience and championing IR’s customer-centric and intelligence-led culture.
**Mō te tūnga | About the role**
You will utilise your skills as a risk management practitioner, with best practice expertise and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You will be working with leaders at various levels of an organisation, displaying your strong advisory and influencing skills to drive the right risk behaviours and change outcomes.
In this role you will also:
- Work closely across CCS, PDD & other key business areas to embed, maintain, and monitor operational risk management frameworks and processes.
- Actively manage and strengthen IR’s risk management processes, frameworks, and culture. Assess, monitor, and regularly report or make recommendations that will manage and mitigate IR’s operational and/or enterprise risks.
- Provide expert advisory and risk perspective to operational management and support risk-based decision-making.
- Focus on continuous development and improvement to ensure IR has sustainable risk management practices that are current and reflect relevant risk assessment models and methodologies.
**Mōu | About you**
To be successful in this position you will possess the following capabilities:
- Skilled practitioner in risk management, with knowledge and experience of best practice risk frameworks and standards.
- Experienced in business continuity management (management responses to adverse events would also be desirable)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and sound judgement.
- Strong advisory, change management & strategic/critical thinking
- Ability to build strong relationships with others to influence them and drive behaviours and outcomes.
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal, with an ability to engage across diverse groups and roles.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Experience with common risk tools, JIRA and Microsoft Power Apps would be desirable
