**Job Description**:

Our world is primarily Microsoft. We look after Windows as a service (desktops and laptops) and the productivity suite of apps (Excel, Teams, SharePoint, etc), fully cloud-based (_not _on-premise). Our vision is to deliver flexible, optimised and world class end-user technology experiences anywhere, anytime, and lucky for us, we have a kickass people enabling M365 technology team who _gets it. _

What we have is pretty special. It’s not often you find the magic blend of fulfilling work, united team, great leadership, and uplifting culture, but we have it here. Reporting to the Delivery Manager for People Technology, you’ll join a high-performing team to consult, collaborate, and support new and proactively improved functionality that ensures continuous improvement of our services and SOE (Standard Operating Environment).

This team deals with the strange, quirky, harder stuff that goes wrong. Using a variety of Microsoft stack technologies within a Modern Workplace Environment, you’ll get to wrap your head around one-off problems, new solutions (*cough* Windows 11 *cough*), packaging apps, and a whole lot of UX. This mahi matters - it’s directly plugged into strategy, pivotal in our aspiration to be a world class place to work. We’re doing awesome things with renewable energy, and you’ll contribute to the decarbonisation of Aotearoa by helping the people of Contact to work smarter, not harder.

**Qualifications**:
**Ko wai koe | About you**

Passionate about delivering good product that’s easy to use, you’re a Microsoft guru with solid Windows 10 and Office 365 experience (and at least a few core platforms). You’re analytical, process-oriented, evaluative, and adept at problem-solving, but also a people person, with a knack for building great relationships throughout the business and spotting coaching opportunities in your own team. Your human-centred approach makes you an excellent mentor _and _the brains behind some excellent UX.

Self-driven, you’re comfortable working Agile, adept at managing multiple priorities in a technical and commercial environment with an eye for improvement, always looking for ways to make ‘good’ better. Beyond that - almost more importantly - you’re a team player who enjoys bouncing off others, thrives in collaboration, and isn’t afraid to put your hand up when you _don’t_ know something. (We’re all human) You love what you do and have been hanging out to work somewhere that “gets it”. (Spoiler alert: that’s us.)
