About the Role (Your Why)
Continued growth of our services sees us looking for an experienced M365 Engineer to work in our Intelligent Workspace Team. You'll join a team of professionals who would enjoy working with customers to find technical solutions for their business problems, primarily focusing on SharePoint and Teams. Our offices are based in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch though this role has a strong preference for Wellington-based applicants. We like to bring people together in person when we can, but we are mindful of the benefits of working from home for work/life balance. We therefore leave it to you and the team you join to figure out what works best

What You’ll Do
- Assist in managing SharePoint Online and Teams environments, including site collections and user permissions.
- Provide 3rd level support to end-users for SharePoint and Teams issues.
- Help configure user access controls and security settings.
- Support the implementation of governance policies and regular maintenance tasks.
- Assist in conducting training sessions and creating user documentation.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to understand their requirements.
- Stay updated with the latest features and updates from Microsoft.

What You’ll Bring
- Basic understanding of SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 ecosystem and related services (e.g., OneDrive, Exchange Online).
- Basic knowledge of PowerShell scripting is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
- Understanding of basic data security best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
