**About the role**:
We’re looking for a confident and professional
**Senior Commercial Broker to join our team in Auckland.**

Reporting directly to the Head of Key Partnerships, you will service a portfolio of medium to large business clients across New Zealand providing timely and trusted advice.

You will inherit and grow an established and profitable book of client business and will be instrumental in developing Crombie Lockwood’s continued growth, reputation and status in the industry and market place.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage national scheme partner relationships in conjunction with Partnerships team
- Maintain client relationships by delivering an outstanding client experience
- Work with insurers to negotiate and enhance offer for scheme clients
- Management of renewals ensuring that they are completed on or before expiry dates
- Working with broker support to ensure timely completion of client alterations, endorsements and setting up of new policies and finance agreements
- Resolve client queries and manage the collection of premiums
- Deliver product advice and proactively refer products that are appropriate to the needs of the client

**Skills and Experience**:

- Previous commercial insurance broking experience (minimum of 3 years NZ broking experience)
- Strong relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to develop and manage complex client accounts
- Experience in developing new business opportunities
- A strong sense of team work and a committed work ethic
- Demonstrated understanding of NZ insurance policies and regulations
- Holds a Certificate in Financial Services (NZQA Level 5)
