Green and Clean is a reputed landscaping and garden maintenance company based in Auckland.

We are looking for an experienced individual for the role of Landscape Gardener to join our team.

**To be successful for this role, you must**:

- Have a Degree/Diploma in Horticulture/Agriculture/Landscaping or similar qualification OR At least 2 years NZ work experience at a similar role.
- Have excellent business acumen, communication skills.
- Be well organized with good time management.
- Be honest and enthusiastic with a positive and mature attitude.
- Must have full working knowledge of gardening, plantation including knowledge about plants, landscaping work and related tasks.
- Must have full working knowledge of lawn management.
- Be willing to work on the weekend and public holidays (if required)
- Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment drug test.
- Should not possess any criminal convictions. Must be willing to provide a criminal record check.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Plan landscaping. Conceptualize the designs and make plans for landscaping accordingly.
- Prepare growing sites for landscaping, gardening, and plantation.
- Select plantation (plants, trees, bushes, hedges, flowers, bulbs) and other material according to the needs of the landscape and other factors.
- Execute plantation and landscaping activities as per the plan: plantation & seeding, construction of gravel and paved areas, walls, fences, ponds, barbeques, gardening furniture, plantation boxes etc.
- Execute ongoing maintenance of the gardens and landscapes.
- Ensure that plants and gardens are being fertilized, sprayed, watered, trimmed, and weeded and mowed, as required.
- Construct gravel and paved areas, walls, fences, ponds, barbeques, garden furniture etc.
- Other tasks as required for gardening and landscaping.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour
