**Te Mātāwai**

**Starting salary: $106k negotiable to $130k depending on skills and experience**
**Mō te tūranga | The role**
This role is fixed term for 2 years and based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara. Reporting to the Kaiwhakahaere Haumitanga, Investment Manager, the focus of this role is being the central point of contact supporting Pou Reo & Kaiāwhina with the successful delivery of their work programs.
You will develop the support systems, embed transformative approaches, processes and models to ensure that pou reo & kaiāwhina are best able to support the reo revitalisation initiatives underway in their region - giving effect to the aspirations of the relevant Pae Motuhake on behalf of their Kāhui.

- Proficiency in Te Reo Māori and Te Reo Pākehā
- Excellent interpersonal skills, relationship building and relationship management ability
- Previous experience working with whānau, hapū, iwi, Māori organisations and communities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 suite along with strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong project and contract management skills and your ability to strategise, plan and coordinate resources to meet agreed objectives
- Ability to create information flow as well as measure progress and report on outcomes
- Enjoyment working collaboratively in a team environment and across the wider organisation
- Political awareness
- Passion for advocating for the revitalisation of Te Reo Māori
- Sound understanding of tikanga and Te Tiriti o Waitangi Principles
