**About the role**:
As the Platform Manager Networks, you will be responsible for the delivery of multiple network technology products and set the direction for the technology products in collaboration with key stakeholders across business groups in DIA to support business goals aligned to the industry's and DIA's best practices. You will also be responsible for continually improving the networks portfolio and delivering secure, high-quality, and high-value outcomes for DIA. On behalf of the portfolio, you will lead engagement across all of DIA and other agencies and ensure that the increase in the uptake of networks is sustainable and can be fully supported.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage and maintain the organisation's network infrastructure.
- Develop and implement strategies for network optimisation.
- Ensure network security protocols are adhered to.
- Coordinate with other IT teams to ensure seamless network integration.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the Networks team.
- Manage relationships with network-related vendors, ensuring that services are delivered in accordance with agreed terms and conditions.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and monitor their adherence to contractual obligations.
- Evaluate vendor performance and make recommendations for future vendor partnerships.
- Conduct system audits to ensure safe and efficient operation of the system.
- Own the lifecycle of assigned technology product sets in the portfolio and develop and maintain product roadmaps reflecting all aspects, including architectural input, while maintaining budget oversight.
- Develop and communicate the product vision and roadmap and define features of the portfolio and its products.
- Provide input into delivery programs and projects and develop acceptance criteria for the initiatives in conjunction with the customers and delivery manager.

**Your Background**:

- Proven experience in a similar role managing network infrastructures.
- Strong knowledge of network hardware, software, and protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
