**About the role**

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) is seeking a detail-focused and proactive Advisor, Resolutions to support the effective management of a broad range of enquiries and formal information requests. This role is integral to ensuring timely coordination and response to matters such as ministerial and statutory correspondence, public feedback, and requests made under the Official Information Act (OIA) and the Privacy Act.

In addition to reviewing Director-level decisions, the Advisor, Resolutions will collaborate closely with the legal team to assist with responses to investigations and enquiries from external oversight bodies, including the Transport Accident Investigation Commission (TAIC), the Coroner, the Ombudsman, and the Privacy Commissioner.

This role also plays a key part in shaping and enhancing the Resolutions team's internal systems and service delivery processes-contributing to continuous improvement and ensuring a responsive, consistent, and high-quality approach to managing complex information and stakeholder matters.

**What You'll Bring**
- Proven expertise in managing and prioritising inquiries and information requests, with a strong focus on sensitivity, complexity, and timely responses.
- Ability to draft high-quality correspondence, including OIA and ministerial communications, while meeting tight deadlines.
- Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams and drive alignment for successful outcomes.
- Experience in providing strategic advice and influence improvements, using insights to enhance processes and deliver results.
- Self-sufficiency and exceptional time management skills, ensuring high-quality results while working independently.
- Public sector experience highly desirable, with a comprehensive understanding of government processes, regulations, and stakeholder engagement.
