**About the role**

This role carries out duties as required by the ‘Dog Control Act 1996’, the ‘Animal Welfare Act 1999’, the ‘Impounding Act 1955’, the ‘Dog Control Bylaw’ and ‘Dog Control Policy’. It delivers animal control services in an

efficient and friendly manner while providing excellent customer service. It provides an interface with the community in order to readily identify and mitigate animal control problems and concerns.

**Who we are looking for**

Ideally, you will possess:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Current NZ Full Driver’s Licence.
- Regulatory compliance training or willing to complete.
