**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Organising the daily operation of the checkout department,
- Serving customers in a warm and welcoming way,
- Supervising self-serve checkouts and processing lotto transactions,
- Dealing with cash and payment transactions,
- Enforcing legislation around the sale of age restricted goods,
- Operating a checkout, packing groceries,
- Completing and processing Ishop and UberEATS transactions,
- Resolving customer complaints,
- Ensuring all transactions are processed correctly,
- Maintaining Health & Safety and Food Safety standards at all times.

**What we are looking for**:

- Ideally with a current General Manager’s Certificate.
- Must be Physically fit - you will be on your feet all day and moving between checkouts and supervising self-serve checkouts.
- Customer service driven - you will spend a lot of time helping our customers.
- Excellent communication skills and computer literacy.
- Reliable with lots of positive attitude, confidence, and maturity.
- Have a good work ethic and be able to work well under pressure
- Can cope with the seasonal demands of working in a busy retail team.
