**The role**

As a Despatcher you’ll be joining the high performing Transport team in Grenada. The team are responsible for ensuring our stores (think - PAKnSAVE, Four Square and New World) receive freight in a safe and timely manner. It’s a varied and busy role that will see you working closely with drivers, stores, and the wider Transport team.

The shift pattern for this role is 0300 to 1130 Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday.

Core responsibilities will also include:

- Ensure all vehicles are available and on-time to arrive and depart the DC’s/ Client’s sites to meet all loading, DIFOT and standard requirements
- Responsible for the management of the fleet vehicles to achieve full utilisation of each loading and to ensure profitability
- Manage all resources efficiently and effectively to achieve the Company’s goals and objectives and DIFOT standards and at all times promote a healthy and safe environment
- Ensure a safe and healthy working environment for Transport staff by maintaining Occupational Safety and Health infrastructure and monitoring compliance

**About you**

With a focus on customer service, key to your success in this role will also include;
- Ideally you will have 2+ years working as a dispatcher in a warehouse setting
- Meticulous attention to detail to manage tasks within assigned processes and organise workload to achieve desired results
- Able to work flexible hours as we operate 24/7
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal, with a desire to engage meaningfully with all stakeholders
- Able to think on your feet and be responsive in a fast-paced environment where speed and quality are equally important
