About the Role

Lead with purpose.

As Nurse Manager – Acute Flow, you will be the operational and professional leader for adult acute inpatient services. You will oversee acute general hospital inpatient wards, manage health targets, and play a key role in the Care Capacity Demand Management (CCDM) programme.

You will work closely with CNMs across:

  • Emergency Department
  • Medical & Surgical Wards
  • Critical Care Unit
  • Assessment, Treatment & Rehabilitation Ward / Acute Stroke Unit

This role also partners with national CCDM coordinators to ensure culturally responsive, high-quality care.

About you

We're seeking a dynamic, experienced nursing leader who:

  • Has 5+ years of health leadership experience
  • Holds a current nursing APC and a relevant postgraduate qualification
  • Brings strong operational, budgetary, and professional leadership skills
  • Is passionate about equity, partnership, and patient-centred care
  • Understands ministry targets and leads change with confidence
