**Job Description** About the Role**
Are you a tech-savvy problem-solver with a knack for mobile devices? We’re on the hunt for a Platform Specialist to join out Platforms team specialising in the supporting our drivers and operations teams. Bringing with you experience at least 3 years of experience in support role and a passion to make a difference. **Key responsibilities**:
- Work with operational staff, drivers and vendors.
- Engage in the design, development, and optimisation of platforms, ensuring they meet the highest standards of reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
- Implement best practices in platform development and support, ensuring compliance with security and data protection standards.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to align platform development with business goals.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, identify opportunities for process improvements, and participate in system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development and support processes, and the team's technical skillset.
**Qualifications** To be successful in this role you must have**:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - the ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written, to a wide range of end-users.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering results.
- An understanding of operational practices and mobile devices is preferred.
- Ability to convey complex technical information clearly and effectively to users at all levels.
- Ability to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or demonstrated experience.
- Strong analytical skills with a track record of diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
- A minimum of 3 years in a similar role with hands-on support experience, including ITIL principles and experience using an incident management tool.
