We are growing and are looking to add a third full time Mechanic to our current team of two to help maintain and service our company fleet. As we are a large landscaping maintenance company, this role will provide you with the opportunity to work on a vast array of vehicles and equipment. Ongoing training and development will be provided on any equipment that you are not familiar with. Based out of our Rosedale Depot, at times you will help support our second Auckland depot when timely repairs are required (Mt Wellington). On occasion you may go out to site to attend small breakdowns that can be quickly remedied, meaning that you wont always be stuck in the workshop.

A main focus of this role will be working on utes, trucks and tractors in the fleet; therefore, diesel experience is ideal. This role will appeal to those who enjoy variety and autonomy. Being able to deal directly with our machine operators and division managers enables you to have first hand understanding of what is required and the satisfaction of seeing the work that you deliver make an immediate impact.

**What you will be doing?**
- Carrying out routine servicing and repairs on fleet vehicles, trailers, and landscaping machinery.
- Attend breakdowns and reactive repairs both in the workshops and on site.
- Updating job cards and providing electronic reporting into our systems.

**We are looking for Individuals who**:

- Hold relevant trade qualifications and experience.
- Have experience across trucks, light vehicle servicing and repairs.
- Experience maintaining vehicles and trailers up to 3.5 tonnes.
- Diesel experience is desirable.
- Hold a full Class 2 NZ drivers’ licence
- Forklift licence is highly desirable but not essential.
- Comfortable using computer systems and electronic reporting.
- Good with communication and problem solving.
