Tauranga, New Zealand Beca Full time

**Personal Assistant - Pacific and Climate Change Resilience**

**Te kāinga rua | The opportunity**

In this Personal Assistant role, you will support our International Manager - Pacific and our Business Director for Climate Change Risk and Adaptation, enabling them to do what they do best, knowing they have the support they need to help schedule their time, coordinate their meetings, and progress the initiatives on which they and their teams are focused.

There is a genuine opportunity to be involved, establishing enduring relationships and contributing to projects which positively impact the future of the regions we work in, including New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific. Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do, innovating for social and environmental good.

Engaging internally and externally, you’ll be valued for your insight to anticipate and navigate changing priorities - taking ownership of calendars to optimise time management and helping to streamline communication and team collaboration. Coordinating and attending meetings (including Board level), you’ll record minutes and proactively progress actions arising. The right person will continue to shape the role, contributing ideas and creativity to presentations, communications, team development and proposals that help win work within New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific region.

Bringing meaning to the words “values-based business”, these leaders are committed to positive actions - examples include contribution as part of Beca’s Transport and Infrastructure leadership group and actively promoting options for flexible/reduced hours work preferences (as aligning with team priorities). Part of this role will be about continuing to foster, enhance and celebrate this culture of inclusivity and empowering people - critical to team performance and fulfilment.

**About You | Te Rongoā**

You will show initiative, energy, and enthusiasm in your ability to proactively make things happen. You have the foresight to anticipate needs and act promptly. You have a strong desire to understand and embrace team objectives, fully understanding the role you can play in achieving them. If you have prior experience as a skilled **Personal Assistant** or an experienced **Administrator** and are seeking opportunities for further development and growth, this position could be an excellent fit for you.

You’ll have a resilient mindset, strong commercial awareness, and initiative. Quick to evaluate priorities and highlight the things of most importance. Experienced with Microsoft 365 and digital workspace. Strong graphical/presentation skills and an interest in business development and climate change are beneficial for this role. An advantage will be familiarity with MS Dynamics to help elevate our client engagement and insights. Your positive energy, eye for detail, solution focus and sense of humour will be a good fit for the team and will positively impact internal and external relationships, contributing to your success and enjoyment.

**Our Commitment to You | Tō Mātou Manawanui ki a Koe**
