**As we prepare to move to a single operator model for the Duty Free Operations at Auckland Airport, we are looking to bolster our support teams** with like minded professionals with an interest in growing their career with a global leader, with a local heartbeat.**

We are looking to drive best practice across our logistics function and are seeking a data-literate and dynamic supply chain/logistics professional with demonstrated experience creating and implementing best practice logistics principles, policies and processes in an FMCG or manufacturing environment.

In this new role, you will be leading the planning, management and evaluation of logistics operations. Setting objectives and KPIs, you will monitor quality, quantity, delivery times and transport costs across our network, drive improvement, negotiate with providers, and ensure the integrity of inventory accuracy and manage stock movements, keeping track of slow and obsolete stock.

**We love to negotiate, but the following are critical to this role**:

- Supply Chain/Logistics/Engineering or related degree
- At least 5 years working in logistics/supply chain/transportation function within the FMCG or manufacturing environment
- Expert knowledge of technical regulations related to logistics; import/export and customs regulations, dangerous goods handling and aviation security
- Advanced computer proficiency with expert knowledge of ERP, WMS and Excel
- Ability to analyse and manipulate technical & complex data
- Knowledge of lean techniques highly regarded
