**ABOUT THE ROLE**:

- This is an exciting time to join our team based in Penrose as a supply chain analytics expert, who thrives in data analysis and enjoys providing recommendations to optimise and improve supply chain performance for Laminex. Other key duties will include:

- Provide recommendations for the accurate fulfillment of sales orders (DIFOT) and inventory issues to Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing and Branches; understanding inventory risk assessments and possible impacts
- Main responsible to audit our inventory performance, and implementing all required inventory policies, controls, KPIs and process documentation across the entire operation
- Develop and implement required inventory management techniques (e.g. Consignment, VMI, JIT, Kanban) in collaboration with our national DCs and Branches
- Assist with New Product Introductions in managing effective inventory phase-in/phase-out process for these new products
- Work with DCs to oversee inventory adjustments, accurate stock transfers, avoid SLOB stock, disposal of obsoleted products and reporting on these metrics
- Proactively manages product portfolio to identify inventory risk and implements plans to ensure the zero-waste model is achieved
- Business Analytics and Supply Chain Reporting, developing diverse business data analytics models
- Review existing processes and challenge status quo for continuous improvement and WASTE Reduction

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Working closely with the Supply Chain Manager, you will be a rational thinker, who is able to provide in-depth analytical input to assist with critical business decisions. As well as experience working for a complex business in supply chain and operations, you will possess:

- Proven supply chain analysis skills (crucial to this role) in a business process improvement environment
- Vast experience implementing diverse inventory analysis methods (e.g. ABC, FSN, VED, HML, and SDE) to determine the right amount of stock to keep on-hand to fill demand while avoiding spending too much on inventory storage
- Demonstrated experience implementing computer interfaces for executive dashboards using Power BI and SQL to present data and supply chain performance in a graphical or visual manner
- Strong commercial acumen and experience with information systems management, with a particular focus on business analytics and reporting
- Strong problem-solving ability, being comfortable with large volumes of data
- Curious mindset with a natural ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders
- Structured, skilled at planning, organising, prioritising and executing simultaneous tasks and activities
