**Te Tūranga | The Role**

As an essential support to the External Relations team, you'll hold a key role with a range of responsibilities including:

- Assisting your colleagues in delivering strong stakeholder relationships and industry events (e.g. roundtables).
- Supporting the development of presentations, speeches, briefs and engagement materials.
- Assisting with the delivery of parliamentary reporting including Annual Reviews and Estimates.
- Preparing and refining briefings for senior leaders ahead of engagement with regulated firms, industry bodies and other significant stakeholders.
- Helping to refine, implement and enhance FMA's stakeholder engagement strategies and effectiveness.
- Identifying opportunities and risks to advance FMA's regulatory role.

**He kōrero mōu | About you**

You'll bring some experience in stakeholder or government relations or communications, ideally in a regulatory context. First and foremost, you'll have a reputation for being highly organised and a sharp analytical thinker with sound judgement. You will enjoy building relationships and influencing others with your diplomatic and credible communication skills.
