**Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**
The Content Executive supports the marketing and communications functions of the Office of Pacific Advancement by planning, coordinating, and developing content under the direction of the Engagement and Partnerships Senior Manager.
As a key role within our newly established Engagement and Partnerships team, you will be passionate and committed to producing top-quality work and digital storytelling that centres Pacific voices, platforms Pacific knowledges, cultures, and ways of being.
A crucial part of your role will be to enhance OPA's digital presence by creating creative content across our social media channels and web pages. You will contribute to the planning, delivery, and promotion of an annual programme of community and cultural events, including Pacific Language Weeks, to drive engagement and the visibility of Pacific at AUT. Alongside this, you will review project outcomes and make recommendations on their future direction.
You'll need to possess a genuine service-leadership mindset with strong communication skills and the creativity to identify, create, and share compelling story angles and content. Essential is the ability to develop and nurture collaborative relationships grounded in Pacific values, and the ability to operate effectively and respectfully in Pacific cultural contexts. You'll be highly collaborative and passionate about driving positive change in partnership with Pacific peoples, whilst enabling ideas, innovation, and proactivity to make things happen.
**He kōrero mōu | About you**
To be successful in this rewarding role, you will be passionate and committed to producing top-quality content and digital storytelling that centres Pacific voices, platforms Pacific knowledges, cultures, and ways of being.
You will also have:
- At least 3 years' experience in marketing and communications or a relevant field.
- At least two years' experience with the development of content for different communication channels, including significant knowledge of media production techniques from creation through to publishing.
- Excellent communication skills and an understanding of good communication practices for different marketing and communication channels.
- Applicants must also have a relevant tertiary degree.

**Ngā Utu | Salary**: $73,000 - $87,000 per annum - pro-rata (dependent on experience and qualifications)
