**What the day will look like**
The purpose of the Risk Engineer Analyst is to support delivery and execution of engineer-based risk consultant solutions for commercial and industrial clients.
The Risk Engineer Analyst applies engineering knowledge and structured methodologies to assess property, operational and environmental risks for clients across various industries. Working under the guidance of Senior Risk Consultants, the role supports delivery of engineering assessments, data modelling, and reporting that inform client risk mitigation strategies and insurance decisions.
**Skills and experience that will lead to success**
- Qualification in Mechanical Engineering
- Project Management Support - experience in assisting in project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, reporting, and delivery.
- Risk Assessment - experience in conducting engineering-based risk assessments for clients’ sites (e.g. fire/explosion risk, natural hazard exposure, structural considerations).
- Data Analysis - experience and demonstrated ability to manage, process, analyse and interpret data to support risk insights and risk modelling.
- Risk Modelling - experience in creating quantitative models to simulate potential risk scenarios and assess their impact on clients.
- Client Engagement Support - ability to support engagement with client stakeholders to understand their internal/external context, priorities, and expectations.
