**The Opportunity**

We are currently looking for an aspiring Risk Analyst professional to join the Risk Consulting team in Auckland.

Reporting to the Director of the Global Risk Consulting team, you will be providing professional risk consulting and accounting services to Aon clients in New Zealand and globally in line with business goals.

Responsibilities for this role include:

- Manage pre and post loss engagements across a multifaceted portfolio.
- Undertaking risk consulting assignments - spanning from analysis of business interruption loss estimates, risk exposures and risk mitigation measures to claims management
- Effective and efficient project management of assignments including the coordination and scheduling of multiple engagements and project reporting
- Liaison with internal and external clients to promote and grow risk accounting services
- Provide input into team technical and business process improvements including peer review, presentations and team meetings
- Manage and provide periodic reporting on work status including workload forecasts, invoicing, financial forecasts and delivery of outputs
- Provide team support to risk accounting team on as needed basis.

Key requirements for this role include:

- Business accounting degree, with Chartered Accountant or CPA qualification desired
- 3+ years’ experience in a consulting or client facing role ideally within auditing or assurance background
- Excellent communicator backed with great commercial acumen
- Knowledge or awareness of the insurance sector
- Consultative, approachable and a team player who can work independently were required.
